Marble is laden everywhere in temple which remains cool in scorching summer heat too. Exquisitely carved 1444 pillars support this massive shrine and surprisingly no two pillars are same. In addition to this, the four idols of Adinatha look in four cardinal directions as well as see each other. There are statues of Adninatha’s mother in front of his idols and you would observe one of them remained incomplete till date.

The periphery extending 36 miles gained the status of being second longest wall of the world after the Great Wall of China. The thick impregnable front walls enclose 300 Jain temples and 60 Hindu temples within the boundary. It is 15 feet broad. Kumbhalgarh has seven entrances that are equipped with weapons.
